Yes she has written in statement that after marriage we demanded money and luxury car from them & harrassed and beaten her multiple time. Does it come under 406 or 498a?
U turn is not new, her parents who created all this issue they want to reconcile under girls conditions which is surely not taking complaint and seperating me from my parents... But when they came for counselling they never showed their willingness to discuss rhe same.
Just to add, I have two year daughter staying with her parents in dehrdune.

Be careful with your wordings there, as it will be used as your statements.In 498a Investigation is done after registering the FIR.They might have written that they did not give any dowry, but check if they have mentioned anything like you have tortured her or demanded so and so....

Hi,
My counselling failed in dehradun on 19 june 2015, now file is pushed to PS. IO called me today saying that please come to PS and he will call my wife as well, requested to make family. She wants to come back.
He said we do mediation before registering FIR. I said I will let you know...
I told him there is no case pf 498a because she herself in her complaint said they have not given any dowry.. i requested him to do invvestigation before FIR.
what should I reply next time he calls me?
Should I go and meet her?
