498a gang, especially wife is asking for adjournments repeatedly, my counsel is mere spectator in the court not objecting the request of next date.
Trail srarted in december last year, summoms were served on opp gang, lw1 to lw3, ie., ex, mother and father, magistrate is not conducting examination in chief, giving dates/adjournments on her request,
My queries are
1. Is it legal to grant adjournments (opp gang took 6 dates), if not, how can we oppose the granting
2. Summons were served on that family, but, her father is not attendong the date, is it allowed? Can we oppose it?
3. Is it good idea to move advancement petition at this stage, if so, please guide me under which section of CrPC/ other sections we can do that.
4. Can a person get exemption from attending the court date after being served with summons during evidence, my counsel is not pushing the case.
Plese give your advise
