Lawyer sees how many hearings would be required. you must check alternatives as lawyers are not trustworthy

At family/session courts district level my lawyer is charging 55K per case like fighting DV, 498A Recently he was able to get AB for my parents in 498a in small town @ 25K (for both)
Although his stratgy seems to be okay and he has been supportive so far. His fees has been increasing exponentially case after case (every new case)
Recently he suggested to file 482 to quash 498A in High court - Now he is asking 80K. - I am not sure about the sort of cost / fee structure at High Court. Is this fee justfied?
