You can send a letter to Io mentioning the mediation had failed or visit and submit the same and get received and there is no need of any further mediation . So , seek the cancel the their compliant or issue notice to you after register the fir to join the investigation. Do not afraid for the FIR.
Now if you refuse to attend, what will happen, Io may try to prove you are avoiding , so better ask to issue the notice , let pre-FIR or post FIR . My counselling failed in dehradun on 19 june 2015, now file is pushed to PS. IO called me today saying that please come to PS and he will call my wife as well, requested to make family. She wants to come back.
He said we do mediation before registering FIR. I said I will let you know...
I told him there is no case pf 498a because she herself in her complaint said they have not given any dowry.. i requested him to do invvestigation before FIR.
what should I reply next time he calls me?
