First mistake that you have done is giving cash to wife, should have given cheque. Cash withdrawal is no proof that you gave to wife for buying gold.
Any withdrawal by you could have been used by you.
Now do not produce bank statement, its of no use.
In maintenance claim anyhow you will have to give bank statement.
Rs 4 lac given to FIL cannot be in cash; you cannot do cash transaction above Rs 50 K. If that was in cheque give the cheque details, date of clearing etc

I want to produce only DR statement (Only withdrawls), I made an enquiry to HDFC bank, they said they can not produce bank statement only for withdrawls.
They will produce complete transcation statments.
Can I produce the bank statements in the excel sheet by removing the deposit or my salary amount ?
